Kevin Baker posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out seven batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). He has become a key player for R.J. Reynolds: the team is 4-2 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 2-5 otherwise.
