Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Alexis Nuefind stepped things up a notch to give Mercy the 'W'. Nuefind wasn't messing around, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The pitching appearance was her fifth straight with two or fewer walks.
