Baseball Recap: West Geauga Comes Up Short

West Geauga lost against Chagrin Falls on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolverines came up short against the Tigers, falling 7-1. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Geauga's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Chagrin Falls, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Geauga will head out to take on Gilmour Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lancers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Wolverines' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Chagrin Falls, they will venture away from home to challenge Shaker Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
