Meanwhile, Prairie Central came up short against Monticello on Tuesday and fell 2-0.

While Prairie Central ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17.

St. Thomas More's win bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Prairie Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-12.

St. Thomas More was able to grind out a solid victory over Prairie Central when the teams last played back in September, winning 2-0. Will the Sabers repeat their success, or do the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
