Football Recap: Bryant Has No Trouble Against Jamaica

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Eagle Academy III, Bryant was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the Jamaica Beavers 30-8. Considering the Owls have won three games by more than 21 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

It was another big night for Mahdi Kobeissi, who threw for 171 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 64 yards and one TD on only five carries. Bryant's leading receiver Adam Oueriaguli was Kobeissi's top target yet again, picking up 107 receiving yards and one score.

Bryant's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Jamaica, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bryant will face off against rival Flushing on Saturday. Meanwhile, Jamaica is set to challenge their familiar foe Campus Magnet on Saturday.
