Basketball Game Preview: Homewood Patriots vs. Mountain Brook Spartans + How To Watch

Homewood is 1-7 against Mountain Brook since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Patriots will take on the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Homewood is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Homewood is headed into the game having just posted their closest win since December 17, 2024 on Tuesday. They pulled ahead with a 55-54 photo finish over Midfield.

Meanwhile, Mountain Brook was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 54-48 to Pelham. The matchup marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mountain Brook fell to 7-1. As for Homewood, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 5-2.
