Volleyball Game Preview: Seneca Indians vs. Lamar Tigers

Seneca is 2-8 against Lamar since October of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Indians will be playing at home against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m.

Seneca's tournament run continued when they took on Hillcrest on Saturday. The Indians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lamar challenged Cassville on Thursday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Lamar was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15, 25-8.

Seneca's loss dropped their record down to 4-15-1. As for Lamar, their win bumped their record up to 15-4-2.

Seneca might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Lamar in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
