Bishop Carroll had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They claimed a resounding 70-41 victory over the Hutchinson Salthawks. That's more bragging rights for the Golden Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bishop Carroll to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brody Kreutzer, who posted 21 points. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Wright, who earned 15 points.
