Basketball Recap: Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Skates Past Alexandria City with Ease

On Tuesday, the Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials humbled the Alexandria City Titans with a 63-36 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Colonials.

Kaiden Kerkulah had an outrageously good game as she went 7 for 15 on her way to 15 points in addition to eight boards and five steals. The contest was her third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Coppenbarger, who posted eight points.

Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Alexandria City, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
