Basketball Recap: Cocoa Beach Comes Up Short

Cocoa Beach lost against Satellite back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cocoa Beach Minutemen were dealt a 44-13 defeat at the hands of the Satellite Scorpions. The match marked the Minutemen's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Cocoa Beach is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6. As for Satellite, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Cocoa Beach won't have much time to rest: their next game is against St. Edward's at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Edward's defense has only allowed 27.3 points per game this season, so Cocoa Beach's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Satellite, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on West Shore at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Satellite is facing West Shore at the right time seeing as West Shore is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
