Softball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland lost against Lowell back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Trojans came up short against the Red Devils, falling 9-3. The matchup marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Gracie Waldron was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Lowell, they pushed their record up to 1-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Highland will challenge rival Hobart at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Lowell is set to square off against their familiar foe Munster at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
