Football Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Trinity's last matchup with Cuyahoga Heights could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Trojans had to suffer through a 41-14 loss at the hands of the Red Wolves. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Red Wolves: they've now lost five in a row.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Cuyahoga Heights, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity will host Independence at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cuyahoga Heights, they will welcome Brooklyn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Red Wolves will be up against the Hurricanes' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.78 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
