Volleyball Recap: Conway Springs Takes a Loss

Conway Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jefferson County North Chargers.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Conway Springs sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-17, 24-26, 25-22.

Lairen Pauly paced Conway Springs' offense, picking up 14 kills. Pauly got some help from Lanie Hartman and her 29 assists.

Conway Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 26-15. As for Jefferson County North, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 41-4 record this season.

Conway Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jefferson County North, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Valley Heights on the 31st.
