Volleyball Recap: Peachtree Ridge Comes Up Short

Peachtree Ridge lost against Grayson back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions fell 2-0 to the Rams.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-9.

Emily Nguyen paced Peachtree Ridge's offense, picking up three kills. Nguyen got some help from Catalina Bianchi Ramos and her four assists. Mojo Jowosimi controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Peachtree Ridge dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Grayson, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Coincidentally, Peachtree Ridge and Grayson will both be playing Parkview the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Rams will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
