Basketball Recap: Lewis Cass Starts Season with Win on the Road

Lewis Cass had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 46-39 win over the Carroll Cougars. Surprisingly, this marked the Kings' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Lewis Cass' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Owen Cotner-Graves, who went 6-for-12 en route to 17 points and four steals. Those 17 points gave Cotner-Graves a new career-high. Julian Levine was another key player, putting up ten points and six boards.

Lewis Cass will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Madison-Grant at 7:30 p.m. on the 13th. Carroll has already played their next game (against Tri-County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
