Volleyball Recap: East Helena Vigilantes vs. Park Rangers
East Helena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Park Rangers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vigilantes of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on Tuesday.
East Helena was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Park work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 22-25, 25-16, 25-14.
Maya Westerhold paced East Helena's offense, picking up eight kills. Westerhold got some help from
Rilie Stephenson and her 24 assists.
Emma Stapley controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
East Helena's defeat dropped their record down to 6-29-3. As for Park, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-16.
