Robinson extended their winning streak to eight on Friday, bumping them up to 8-0. They enjoyed a cozy 46-29 win over the Searcy Lions. That's more bragging rights for the Senators, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

A big part of Robinson's victory came down to the chemistry between Reece Simpson and his top target Josiah Warrior-Benson. Simpson threw for 282 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.8 yards per attempt while Warrior-Benson picked up 106 receiving yards and one score. Those 106 receiving yards gave Warrior-Benson a new career-high.

Robinson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 211 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 211 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.

Having lost for the first time this season, Searcy fell to 7-1. The loss was their first of the season.

Searcy's loss came despite strong showings from Bryson Thompson and Jackson Smith. Thompson picked up 96 receiving yards and one TD, while Smith gained 104 total yards and a touchdown. Thompson showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 69 yards.

Robinson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 35-0 win against Pine Bluff on the 31st. As for Searcy, they have also already played their next game, a 47-40 victory against Maumelle on the 31st.
