Volleyball Recap: Emma Rupeika's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Northview over Druid Hills

Northview lost against Druid Hills back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Titans came up short against the Red Devils, falling 3-0. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Several Titans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emma Rupeika, who had nine digs and four assists. Olivia Ardis was another key player, getting eight digs and seven assists.

Druid Hills was led to victory by Kassidy Manning and Sydney Patterson. Manning had 15 assists and four aces, while Patterson had 12 digs. That's the most aces Manning has posted over her last six matches.

Northview's loss dropped their record down to 17-21. As for Druid Hills, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 21 of their last 23 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 36-7 record this season.

Northview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Central on the 14th. As for Druid Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Starr's Mill on the 14th.
