Litchfield saw some tournament action on Thursday. They snuck past Hillsboro with a 53-47 victory.

Meanwhile, Father McGivney Catholic hadn't done well against Pana recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Father McGivney Catholic pulled ahead with a 57-56 photo finish over Pana. With that win, the Griffins brought their scoring average up to 50 points per game.

Litchfield better keep an eye on David Carroll. He was instrumental in Father McGivney Catholic's win, going 10 for 14 on his way to 23 points. That's the most points Carroll has posted since back in November of 2024. Owen Kolesa was another key player, putting up ten points and three steals.

Father McGivney Catholic moved to 11-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Litchfield, their win bumped their record up to 9-12.
