Softball Recap: Rappahannock County Comes Up Short

Rappahannock County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 12-1 to the Strasburg Rams. Rappahannock County was not able to make up for their loss to Strasburg from their previous meeting back in May of 2023.

Rappahannock County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Strasburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Rappahannock County will take on rival Luray at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Strasburg is set to face off against their familiar foe Clarke County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
