Volleyball Recap: Smithtown East Bulls vs. Deer Park Falcons
Smithtown East entered their tilt with Deer Park on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Bulls have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.
Smithtown East never let Deer Park on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-22, 25-10.

Smithtown East's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sadie LaPresti, who had five aces and four digs. They weren't the only good server: Smithtown East was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive matches.
