Football Recap: KIPP Cooper Norcross Victorious

KIPP Cooper Norcross won the last time they faced Wildwood and Jykhai Boyd did his part to make sure it happened again. The Titans blew past the Warriors 34-7 on Saturday for which the team can thank Boyd, who rushed for 96 yards and one score. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 52 yards.

KIPP Cooper Norcross' record now sits at 4-2. As for Wildwood, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Looking ahead, KIPP Cooper Norcross will take on Holy Cross on Saturday. The Titans are facing the Lancers at the right time seeing as the Lancers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Wildwood, they will head out on the road to challenge Bishop Eustace Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders' defense has only allowed 13.2 points per game this season, so the Warriors' offense will have their work cut out for them.
