Soccer Recap: Hialeah Educational Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Somerset Academy South Homestead last Friday, Hialeah Educational Academy came back down to earth. The Hialeah Educational Academy Biggie fell just short of the Florida Christian Patriots by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Biggie couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Jason Rivera, who's now up to five this season.

Hialeah Educational Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5-1. As for Florida Christian, their record now sits at 6-7-3.

Hialeah Educational Academy will venture away from home to challenge Sports Leadership & Management at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hialeah Educational Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season. As for Florida Christian, they will welcome Sunset at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
