Providence Christian Academy had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They came out on top against the Fayette County Tigers by a score of 2-0.

While Providence Christian Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 29-27.

Zoie Cameron paced Providence Christian Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Cameron got some help from Sydney Cook and her 21 assists. Emmy Moody controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Providence Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 30-7. As for Fayette County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-17 record this season.

Coincidentally, Providence Christian Academy and Fayette County will both be playing Whitefield Academy the next time they take the court. The Storm will host the WolfPack at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
