Soccer Game Preview: St. Charles North vs. Glenbard North

The St. Charles North North Stars will face off against the Glenbard North Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Charles North's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

St. Charles North's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Neuqua Valley 1-0. St. Charles North's winning goal came courtesy of Oliver Longosz.

Meanwhile, Glenbard North has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 15. They lost 3-0 to Lake Park on Thursday. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Glenbard North couldn't quite close it out.

St. Charles North's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Glenbard North, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10-2.

St. Charles North was able to grind out a solid victory over Glenbard North in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. Do the North Stars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
