Flag Football Recap: Cherokee Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Cherokee, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They never let the Mount Paran Christian Eagles get on the board and left with a 20-0 victory on Wednesday. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 20 points or more this season.

Gracie Mayo went supernova, throwing for 120 yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 62 yards on only seven carries.

The win snapped Cherokee's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record. As for Mount Paran Christian, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Cherokee and Mount Paran Christian will both be playing Pebblebrook the next time they take the field. The Eagles will head out to face the Falcons at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
