Volleyball Recap: Cristo Rey St. Martin Extends Winning Streak to Three

Cristo Rey St. Martin had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Christ the King Gladiators by a score of 2-0.

Cristo Rey St. Martin never let Christ the King on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-22.

Brianna Candia paced Cristo Rey St. Martin's offense, picking up three kills. Candia got some help from Maya Adan and her three assists. Giselle Villafan controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

The win got Cristo Rey St. Martin back to even at 7-7-1. As for Christ the King, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-1.

Looking ahead, Cristo Rey St. Martin is taking a road trip to face off against Willows Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Christ the King, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Westmont at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
