Football Recap: Ketchum Piles Up the Points Against Porter

Ketchum never let their opponents score on Thursday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 34-0 victory over the Porter Pirates. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Ketchum's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gracian Jones led the charge by picking up 97 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also punching in one score on the ground. Keegan Johnston was another key player, rushing for 38 yards and one TD.

Ketchum's record now sits at 5-2. As for Porter, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Ketchum will head out on the road to challenge Fairland at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. The Owls' defense has only allowed 13.3 points per game this season, so the Warriors' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Porter, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Afton at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st.
