On Friday Nick Armstrong tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The performance also marked the fewest walks (zero) Armstrong has had since back in March of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with less than two walks. For the season, he has an ERA of 2.80 over 10 innings pitched.

Coming up, Armstrong and Burlingame will challenge Sacred Heart Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sadly, Armstrong's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Burlingame's four-game streak of wins on the road.
