Chaparral extended their postseason success on Thursday against Centennial. They blew past the Coyotes 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Firebirds sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Caprice Cooper had an outrageously good game as she had 19 digs and eight assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Despite the loss, Centennial still got an impressive performance from Kate Federico, who had nine digs and four assists.

Chaparral's win bumped their record up to 34-5. As for Centennial, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 25-14 record.

Chaparral wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Sunrise Mountain on the 15th. Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
