Football Recap: Innovation Academy Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Innovation Academy's offense. They lost 26-0 to the Cheatham County Central Cubs on Friday. The match marked the first time this year in which the Sentinels were not able to get on the board.

Cheatham County Central found their leader in sophomore Walker Hobbs, who rushed for 158 yards and three scores while picking up 8.8 yards per carry.

Innovation Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Cheatham County Central, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Innovation Academy will host Zion Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cheatham County Central, they will welcome Camden Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cubs are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
