Passaic County Tech and Fair Lawn are an even 3-3 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Bulldogs will host the Cutters at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Passaic County Tech will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Passaic County Tech and Clifton, and Passaic County Tech kept the tradition alive. The Bulldogs walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Mustangs on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Fair Lawn's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell 10-6 to Wayne Valley. The matchup marked the Cutters' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Fair Lawn saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maya Showfety, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4. That stolen base was Showfety's first of the season. Isabella Grassi was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Fair Lawn's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Passaic County Tech, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Passaic County Tech skirted past Fair Lawn 5-3 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cutters turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
