Football Recap: Winters Warriors vs. Live Oak Lions
Winters put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 42-7 victory over the Live Oak Lions. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 21 points or more this season.
Sebastian Rodriguez was his usual excellent self, rushing for 105 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, while also picking up 56 receiving yards and a touchdown. Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Winters will square off against Durham at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both have allowed few points on average, (Winters: 8.5, Durham: 15.5) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Live Oak, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Central Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
