Volleyball Recap: Gar-Field Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Gar-Field was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Charles J. Colgan Sharks, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sharks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Gar-Field took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-16, 25-20.

Charles J. Colgan can attribute much of their success to Elizabeth Robinson, who had 22 assists and five aces. That's the most assists Robinson has posted since back in September.

Gar-Field's loss dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Charles J. Colgan, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Gar-Field nor Charles J. Colgan have any future games scheduled.
