Baseball Recap: Richland Northeast Comes Up Short

Richland Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 14-2 to the South Pointe Stallions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stallions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-3 last Tuesday.

Richland Northeast saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendrick Phillips, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Richland Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for South Pointe, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-9.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Richland Northeast will challenge rival Dreher at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, South Pointe is set to take on their familiar foe York at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
