Football Recap: Sequoyah Comes Up Short

If Sequoyah was riding high fresh off their 64-14 takedown of Cleveland last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles were beaten by the Cascia Hall Commandos 42-10 on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Commandos: they've now lost four in a row.

Sequoyah's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Cascia Hall, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sequoyah will challenge rival Berryhill at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st. Meanwhile, Cascia Hall is set to square off against their familiar foe Verdigris at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st.
