While Santa Paula put up plenty of points on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Fillmore. The Cardinals blew past the Flashes, posting a 35-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won eight matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Angie Aguilera produced another solid effort rushing for 82 yards and two TDs on only ten carries, while also throwing for 171 yards and three touchdowns.

Santa Paula's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. The heavy lifting was done by Tatyana Magana and Natalie Duran, who racked up all five sacks between them.

The win (which was Santa Paula's third in a row) raised their record to 9-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.0 points on average over those games. As for Fillmore, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Santa Paula will venture away from home to take on Channel Islands at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Aguilera and Alyssa Olmos. As for Fillmore, they will head out to square off against Knight at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
