Basketball Game Preview: Sewickley Academy vs. Leechburg Blue Devils

Sewickley Academy will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 25 points on Saturday, then bounced right back against Northgate on Tuesday. Sewickley Academy strolled past Northgate with points to spare, taking the game 65-51.

Meanwhile, Leechburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against Winchester Thurston, falling 74-47.

Sewickley Academy will have to contain Rocco Vigna as he made an impact in Leechburg's last game. He went 5 of 11 on his way to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Chase Henry, who posted eight points.

Sewickley Academy's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points per game. As for Leechburg, their loss dropped their record down to 3-17.
