Baseball Recap: Leyden Eagles vs. Addison Trail Blazers

Leyden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Addison Trail Blazers. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blazers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Julian Martinez was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched.
