The Woodlands Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Episcopal Knights with points to spare, taking the game 38-24. The 38-point effort marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Santiago Fernandez Villarreal was his usual excellent self, throwing for 225 yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 83 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last four times he's played. A healthy portion of Fernandez Villarreal's aerial production (116 yards to be exact) went to Julio Fernandez Villarreal, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something The Woodlands Christian Academy proved: they limited Episcopal to a paltry 1.1 yards per carry. While two picked up at least ten total tackles, Gavin Bridges stood above the rest. He made ten total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended one pass. The Woodlands Christian Academy didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 8.1.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Donovan Warren, who threw for 334 yards and three TDs. Will Ngo was Warren's top target, picking up 97 receiving yards and one score.

The Woodlands Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Episcopal, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

The Woodlands Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 44-24 victory against Tomball Christian HomeSchool on the 3rd. As for Episcopal, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 45-14 win against Episcopal School of Dallas on the 3rd.
