Liberty Christian found their leader in sophomore Tre Smith, who went 6-for-9 to rack up 15 points. Smith is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Michael Chestnut was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, Wilson Memorial lost to Stuarts Draft on the road by a 53-38 margin on Monday. The match marked the Green Hornets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Wilson Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 19-4. As for Liberty Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

Liberty Christian came up short against Wilson Memorial in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 81-76. Can Liberty Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
