After a string of five wins, Ozaukee's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Wisconsin Christian Crusaders. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Crusaders when the teams met back in October of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19.

Leighton Schmitz paced Ozaukee's offense, picking up six kills. Schmitz got some help from Helen Utecht and her 12 assists. Finally, Schmitz was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Ozaukee's loss dropped their record down to 17-15. As for Central Wisconsin Christian, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-8.
