Baseball Recap: Farragut's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

After a string of six wins, Farragut's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 5-2 to the Solorio Sun Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sun Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-4 back in March.

Farragut saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Freddy Garcia, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases. Yoel Guerra was another, earning one RBI, one run, and one stolen base.

Farragut's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Solorio, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-14 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Farragut will challenge Little Village at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Solorio, they will square off against Loyola Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
