Cloudcroft's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Mescalero Apache Chiefs with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Chiefs: they've now won nine in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10, 25-20.

Cloudcroft's win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Mescalero Apache, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-20.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cloudcroft will challenge rival Mesilla Valley Christian School at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mescalero Apache is set to take on their familiar foe Capitan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
