Football Game Preview: Andale Indians vs. Pratt Greenbacks + Official Tickets

The Andale Indians will face off against the Pratt Greenbacks on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Andale is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Clay Center 51-6. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Andale's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sam Harp, who rushed for 188 yards and three scores on only ten carries. Jack Horsch was another key back, rushing for 101 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Andale was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 383 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, Pratt's offense rose to the challenge against an Eagles defense that boasted an average of only 13.4 points allowed on Friday. The Greenbacks blew past Hugoton 35-14. The Greenbacks pushed the score to 28-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

Pratt found their leader in sophomore Cade Liggett, who rushed for 201 yards and two TDs while picking up 9.6 yards per carry, and also picked up 55 receiving yards and one score. Liggett was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 59 yards. Another player making a difference was Cresten Pore, who threw for 198 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes.

Pratt's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Andale, their victory bumped their record up to 10-0.

Everything came up roses for Andale against Pratt in their previous meeting back in October of 2023, as the team secured a 43-6 win. In that game, the Indians amassed a halftime lead of 29-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
