Volleyball Game Preview: Cloudcroft Bears vs. Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers

The Cloudcroft Bears will square off against the Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Tuesday, Cloudcroft made easy work of Mescalero Apache and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Chiefs: they've now won nine in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Mesilla Valley Christian School got the win against Lordsburg on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 26-24, 25-19.

Mesilla Valley Christian School's victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Cloudcroft, their win bumped their record up to 12-10.
