Volleyball Recap: Bushland Comes Up Short

Bushland was the 3-0 winner over Amarillo when they last played one another back in September of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons fell 3-1 to the Sandies on Saturday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-10, 21-25, 25-16.

Bushland's defeat dropped their record down to 25-8. As for Amarillo, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 21-8.

Bushland will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Friona at 7:00 p.m. on October 7. As for Amarillo, they will venture away from home to square off against Lubbock-Cooper at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
