Kennedy McCoy posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out five batters over four innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, McCoy and Troup County will head out on the road to face off against Whitewater at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 143 places lower in Georgia), but they're not letting that get them down.
