Texas City is 7-2 against Ball since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Texas City Stingarees will be playing at home against the Ball Tornadoes at 7:30 p.m. Texas City's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Texas City fell victim to Friendswood and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 5-0 to the Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Stingarees can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 426th, while the Mustangs are ranked 110th).

Meanwhile, Ball was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against Friendswood, falling 9-0.

Ball's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Texas City, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Texas City took their win against Ball in their previous meeting back in February by a conclusive 7-0. Will Texas City repeat their success, or does Ball have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
