Football Game Preview: St. Edmund vs. Grand Lake

St. Edmund will challenge Grand Lake on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. St. Edmund are coming into the game hot, having won five in a row.

Last Friday, St. Edmund put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. They put the hurt on Oberlin with a sharp 35-6 victory. Senior Brad Miller was the offensive standout of the match for St. Edmund, as he rushed for 112 yards and 2 touchdowns. Miller has now scored at least one touchdown in the past five games.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Grand Lake, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. They were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 14-18 to Hamilton Christian.

Everything went St. Edmund's way against Grand Lake the last time the two teams met as they made off with a 29-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Edmund since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
